Lessons
Terra Gait Stables offers a positive learning environment for riders of all levels.
Our trainers create a customized lesson program for each rider based on their level of riding skills and individual needs.
For our beginners we feel that there is more to appreciating the horse than just riding. We teach horse safety, proper horse care, grooming, tacking, riding, groundwork and clean up.
For our more experienced riders we offer riding instruction geared towards your individual goals. Whether it be a refresher course, becoming more in tune with your horse or preparing for competition in the show ring. Our trainers will build an individualized riding program based upon your existing equestrian knowledge and skills.
We have a wide variety of well trained and safe lesson horses to meet your level of experience.
Information About Riding Lessons
- Lessons are available to equestrians ages 7 and up
- Lesson duration is 1 hour
- All equestrians are required to wear a helmet. If you do not have one, one will be provided
- Proper riding attire includes boots, jeans and weather related clothing
- Lesson price is $50 for each 1 hour lesson
- Package price is $250 (Buy 5 Get 1 Free)
Terra Gait Tots
- Lessons available for ages 4 - 6
- Lesson duration is 30 minutes
- All equestrians are required to wear a helmet. If you do not have one, one will be provided
- Proper riding attire includes boots, jeans and weather related clothing
- Lesson price is $30 for each 1/2 hour lesson
